A DANCE club that has given Rubery residents the chance to show off their moves for the past two decades is holding a special event.

The end of the holiday and imminent returns to work and school were banished from the minds of thousands of rock and pop fans who enjoyed this weekend’s late summer Fusion Festival.

RUBERY youngsters will be able to enjoy an afternoon of fun activities at their village park in September.

THE FRONT desk at Rubery Police Station will be closed from Monday (September 1).

The village’s councillor Peter McDonald has hit out at West Mercia’s Police and Crime Commission Bill Longmoore for ‘losing his marbles in a fantasy world’ after, he claims, residents were told to use a ‘contact point’ which will connect visitors through to a 24/7 service via an intercom.
