New Road’s 10 concrete planters recently received a welcome face lift with thanks to the collaboration of Rubery Village Business Association and Rubery in Bloom volunteers.

Rubery Market has recently reopened and offers you a selection of different stalls, the Meerkat Soft Play Area for children and the Signpost Cafe where you can chill out and relax.

Fourteen shops have participated in the Window Dressing Competition together with additional pictures from local schools.

Head Boy Alex Aston and Deputy Head Girl Poppy Crawford (also School Council Members) were asked to attend a meeting of the Partners and the Community Teamwork (PACT) group on the 9th March.

The well is situated on the grounds of Rubery community and leisure centre.
The original name for the centre was St Oswalds camp, this derives from a story about St Oswald, whilst travelling through Rubery camped and bathed at the well before proceeding on his travels.
