Rubery drama group revives popular 70s love farce

POPULAR 1970s farce Darling Mr London is the next stage production to be put on by Rubery Drama Group.

Performances of the Anthony Marriott and Bob Grant play will take place at 7.30pm each evening – from October 23 to 25.

The play centres around Edward who works at a continental telephone exchange.

The main character loves to chat up the female operators but runs into trouble when four glamorous women arrive at his home on the same evening and he has to keep them from his wife, mother-in-law and the vicar who is lodging with him.
